Born on 18 March 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio, United States, David Deida is an author known for his books on sexual and spiritual growth amongst men and women.

In 197,4 Deida won a National Writing Award, afterwards, he got into the Florida Scholars Program and became a student of the University of Florida. He graduated in 1982 with a bachelor’s degree in Theoretical Psychobiology.

Deida earned his Master’s from the University of California in 1989. During his time as a graduate student, he conducted several types of research on ontogeny.

From 1983 – 2000, Deida collaborated with Sofia Diaz, a yoga teacher, to develop yoga techniques that are aimed at helping people with their intimate relationships.

Deida wrote The Form of Duality: Objectification as Implicate Time, which was published in 1985, one of his many papers.

Deida is also an author and has authored several books such as The Way Of The Superior Man: A Spiritual Guide to Mastering the Challenges of Women, Work, and Sexual Desire, which was published in 1997.
