Born on 26 August 1910 in Üsküp, Kosovo Vilayet, Ottoman (present-day: Skopje, North Macedonia), Mother Mary Teresa Bojaxhiu (born Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu) was an Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary.
